I've collected fortunes from fortune cookies for years and years. I think the collection started in middle or high school when I saw my older (and therefore much cooler) cousin collecting her fortunes.
I was bestowed with this gem over a year ago and it has been on my fridge ever since (an honor only given to the most deserving of ephemera). I'm hoping by posting it on my blog (and in a more prominent place) it will become my motto to get me through the next couple of weeks and months of giving action to ideas.
I have an idea to make a big art piece with all of my collected fortunes that I suppose I'll get to one of these days... ironic, eh?

where did you find that fortune? I never get meaningful ones!
I used to collect fortunes in high school. :) And i did use them in my art sometimes. I think i might have actually done some sort of project with them in college, but i can't quite remember what it was...
